It's begining to feel a lot like christmas

Well today was the coldest it has been yet! a freezing 8....yes i said 8. brrrrrr. It was the holiday light festival downtown and i wanted to go so bad. There isn't much to do in omaha so when there is something i like to go. It took forever to get David convised to go. "he's too young....he's not even going to remember". So does that mean that we should sit inside all day every day untill Jace is old enough to remember....and THEN we can go do things. Of course, why did'nt i think of that.

so we went to the childrens museum and played around for a while. Santa was gone by the time we got there....but Jace is to young to remember anyways.

*Oh Christmas Tree*

We went and cut down our christmas tree yesturday. I think we're starting a tradition. It was frezzing so we didn't spend a whole lot of time picking one out, but i think we found a good one. Kailie had fun going with us too, her and david are buddies.

I have gone from one kid to two kids...well two in the day at least, i get to give one kid back at night. Its defiantly different. i don't always get the laundry done, the dishes usually sit until the end of the night, i tend to be a little more tired. I'm far more active. But its fun! And i enjoy it. I would love to get another kid to watch but then we might not be able to go anywhere (3 car seats in the car? not sure if that will work) I'm a little nervous about going out with BOTH kids by myself. i have yet to do it. Luckely Dave is super good with Kailie and he runs around chasing her while i carry Jace. but i have a feeling that i'm going to have to venture out with them alone soon. *bites nails*. Jace loves watching Kailie do everything and she loves playing 'momma'. She is such a well behaved girl, for a one year old. She so content and laid back (most of the time). It'll be fun to see these two grow up together.

Play Dates & Weekends

We went with my sister and Rebekah to the botanical gardens. They have a kids structure event and although Jace fell asleep 1/2 the time we were there, it still was pretty neat.


















This weekend me and my sister made some cupcakes we're entering into a contest, i'm a little biased but i think we might win.

The end of 3 months!

Jace is almost 4 month old! Crazy how fast it goes. He seems so big already! He is defiantly ready to start taking tastes of solid foods. We got bored one night and thought we would try out a little baby cereal. It is so funny, David is learning about babies as we go on...i asked him, "should we try giving him some cereal?" David responded saying, "NO! He'll choke!". I think he though i was going to pour him a bowl of Cheerios. Jace got the hang of eating pretty quick. By the 3rd bite he was grabbing the spoon and pulling it towards his mouth. Of course we made a mess!

Of course when dad is home they spend their time playing video games, reading the paper and napping.
